was when my 6 year old special needs child stood in front of me after dropped kicking his father who was choking me and pinning me up against the wall. My son screamed, "Don't ever touch my mommy again!" I caught my breath and scooped him up and hid until we could escape. I am the on who is suppoded to protect him, not the other way around...Never again will he have to protect me...
